Penny Coomes (born 6 April 1989 in Ascot, Berkshire) is an English ice dancer who represents Great Britain. With partner Nicholas Buckland, she is the 2010 British silver medalist. They were selected to represent Great Britain at the 2010 Winter Olympics.[4]

Coomes teamed up with Nicholas Buckland in 2005. They made their senior international debut at the 2008 Finlandia Trophy, where they placed 9th.
In the 2009-2010 season, they placed 9th at the Ice Challenge in Graz, Austria, and 4th at the 2009 Ondrej Nepela Memorial after placing second in the compulsory dance segment. They won the silver medal at the 2010 British Figure Skating Championships. In December, they won the bronze medal at the 2009 Golden Spin of Zagreb.
They are ranked second overall in the NISA National Rankings 2009/2010.
They moved to train with coach Evgeny Platov in December 2009. They train mostly in New Jersey.[5]
